Credits and Tests

According to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) participants get the opportunity of gaining credit points for the seminars as well as for the German language courses. Students who are not enrolled at one of the Strategic Partner Universities need to inquire at their home university if the credit points gained at Frankfurt Summer School will be accepted for their programme of study. Please notice that gaining credit points for the seminars as well as for the German language courses requires participation on a regular basis.

The exact number of credit points that can be gained differs among the seminar programmes:

Legal Studies: up to 6 ECTS points

Psychology: up to 8 ECTS points

Natural and Life Sciences: up to 6 ECTS points

Furthermore, you can gain up to 3 ECTS points for the German language course.

After the summer school has ended you will receice a „transcript of records“ specifying the ECTS points you have gained during Frankfurt Summer School.

Please notice that you can only gain credit points if you regularly participate in the respective seminars (minimum attendance rate: 80% of the total course hours).
